The Pisgah Civitan Appreciation Awards Dinner: A Memorable Evening of Gratitude and Celebration

The Pisgah Civitan Appreciation Awards Dinner was a complete success! Guests enjoyed a delicious pasta and salad bar, complemented by a tempting array of desserts, all set against the backdrop of a beautiful summer evening.

Civitan members and Club officers warmly welcomed a full house of generous, hardworking attendees. The evening's ambiance was elevated by the musical talents of singer and guitarist Mike Hubler, whose performance set a joyful and heartfelt tone.

The awards ceremony was a true highlight, thrilling not only the recipients but also drawing cheers and applause from the entire room. Civitan Club Treasurer Jeff Miles presented the Appreciation Award to Blake Chandler, sharing a touching story that underscored Blake’s contributions to the community.

Pisgah Civitan President Pam Miles honored Lidia Pennington, Executive Director of the Jackson County Tourism Board, with the Appreciation and Gratitude Award, recognizing her much-deserved support and dedication.

In a heartfelt and surprise moment, Civitan Jerry Farmer presented the "Celebrating a Visionary Leader" Award to Pam Miles, recognizing her unwavering dedication and exceptional leadership in the renovation of the Pisgah Gorge Civitan Park. Her efforts were truly “above and beyond.”

The evening was a celebration of community spirit, leadership, and the power of shared vision. The Pisgah Civitan Club extends its deepest thanks to everyone who made the event unforgettable.
